What is Perinatal Connections?
Perinatal Connections is a FREE service that provides you with support and connections to community resources during your pregnancy and through one year after you deliver. Our team consist of registered nurses, family support coaches, and mental health counselors to answer your questions, we help you prepare for delivery, and check yours and your infant’s health for FREE.
Am I eligible?
Our FREE services are available to any birthing parent or caregiver of an infant pregnancy through one year after delivery living in Tarrant, Parker, Johnson, Hood, Wise or Erath counties.

Support During Pregnancy

Post-Delivery Nurse Home Visit
You’ve left the hospital and now you are adjusting to life at home. Whether your pregnancy and delivery were uneventful, or it was complicated, you deserve support and care from an experienced nurse to help you adjust to your new normal. With a 98% client satisfaction rate, a visit with a registered nurse after your delivery has proven to be a very informative and valuable resource for new parents.

Mental Health Support
Maternal mental health is vital for a healthy pregnancy, and a well-adjusted infant. Sometimes the effects of biological hormones, the pressures of our society, and even friends and family can leave us questioning if we are good enough, and if we can handle everything that comes with a pregnancy and having a baby. Perinatal Connections can help guide you, teach you ways to cope, and empower you to care for yourself first.

Pregnancy Loss/Grief Support
When pregnancy doesn’t go as expected, it’s hard to know what to do or where to turn. Perinatal Connections knows that grief is a journey, and very personal. Our team is trained to meet you where you are and support you through your time of grief. Let us help you to heal.

NICU Parent/Anticipated NICU Stay
When babies are born early or have complications, the unknown can sometimes be the hardest part to cope with. Let our experienced nurses and family support coaches help guide you through those unknowns. Armed with a wealth of knowledge in what to expect for a NICU parent, we can help you plan, understand, and manage this uncertain time in your parenting journey.
